HVI-Certified Products Directory HVI publishes a free HVI-Certified Products Directory that is updated monthly. With more than 1,000 certified ventilation products listed, HVI members can provide ventilation options suitable for the wide range of climates and housing found in North America. Recovery Ventilators (HRVs) and
Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs)
In March 1999, HVI launched a two-phase Sound Refinement Program which included improvements such as a new sound test laboratory, up-to-date methods and equipment, and comprehensive field verification of product performance. The program was completed in July 2001. Products certified since then carry what HVI touted as new, more accurate and reliable HVI 2100 certified ratings.
