Joe Nebbia

 

 

Joe Nebbia is a building science and regulatory expert specializing in energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and codes & Standards work. He has taught code classes to thousands of code officials, builders, designers, and trade contractors and operates a technical code help line. Joe also serves as the US Department of Energy's Zero Energy Ready Home Program Operations Director. He has worked on technical and regulatory issues for 19 years with 15 spent on buildings.

  • Summary of three approved HERV USMD projects. These include public comments for the second round of EPA Indoor airPLUS public review; public comments for the Energy Star Certified New Home public review; cost study on installed H/ERV costs across the country.
  • Newport has been working in partnership with both the US Department of Energy and HVI/HARCA to develop ASTM laboratory test methods for low cost IAQ sensors. This presentation will focus on the project, progress, results, and next steps
